FIVE STARS 93/100 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Awarded American Winery of the Year – Wine Enthusiast Magazine 2019
Big, bold Trophy-winning American Chardonnay with lots going on in the glass. Partial barrel-fermentation brings complexity while lees stirring has added creaminess and extra texture. The list of accolades speak for themselves - this is robustly weighted wine in the classic American style. The finish lingers like the last bite of that buttery crème brulee. A huge favourite with the Advintage Chardonnay faithful.
Vegan and vegetarian friendly.
The winery writes "The 2021 growing season has graced this Chardonnay with some added complexity. The green apple and pear aromatics from Clarksburg Chardonnay are complemented by notes of tangerine and stone fruit, while honeysuckle and vanilla heighten the first impression. The rich and creamy entry rolls into a viscous and silky mouth feel, surrounded by Asian pears and Honeycrisp apples. The finish lingers long and soft, like the wafting aromas of grandma’s warm apple pie."
Bold & Buttery
My 'go to' Chardonnay, only surpassed by their Reserve when I can get it
