What a superstar this remarkable wine is, and the 2021 is sure to continue its all conquering ways in the annual wine show and award rounds. Vinted in the classic Mediterranean dry style, Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rosé is elegant and fresh with just a hint of lush mid palate weight. In our book, it is a near perfect expression of the modern New Zealand style and is a must try wine for any fan of dry summer rosé. This new release brings an extra touch of saline minerality into play, and that marries perfectly with the understated silken berry fruits that line that magical mid palate. Beautiful wine. Bravo.
The winery writes "Savoury with fresh sea breeze aromas of rock salt and pink peppercorns, overlaying nuances of watermelon, nectarine and botanical notes of Jasmine. This elegant rosé is perfectly poised with a gravelly texture, delivering a thirst quenching, generous and dry finish."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Vibrant, pure, fresh and lifted floral bouquet with aromas of fresh red cherry, red apple skin, tropical fruit tea and rose perfume. Crisp, refreshing, salivating and dry on the palate with fruit flavours that reflect the nose, plenty of acidity and mouthwatering flavours, a light salty texture and balanced even finish. What’s not to like! Best drinking upon purchase and through end of summer 2023."
Sam Kim writes "Exquisitely delicate and elegantly expressed with nectarine, crunchy apple and lemon peel aromas with a hint of sweet strawberry on the nose. The finely textured palate delivering light body and linear mouthfeel, well supported by crisp acidity. A gorgeous refined offering."
