What a superstar this remarkable wine is, and the 2020 is sure to continue its all conquering ways in the annual wine show and award rounds. Vinted from predominantly pinot noir grapes in the classic Mediterranean dry style, Two Rivers Isle of Beauty Rosé is elegant and fresh with just a hint of lush mid palate weight. In our book, it is a near perfect expression of the modern New Zealand style and is a must try wine for any fan of dry summer rosé. This new release brings an extra touch of saline minerality into play, and that marries perfectly with the understated silken berry fruits that line that magical mid palate. Beautiful wine. Bravo.
Sam Kim , Wine Orbit writes "94pts. Exquisitely elegant and delicately fragrant, the wine shows crunchy apple, white flesh nectarine, lemon peel and white floral aromas on the nose, followed by a finely focused palate that's persistent and linear. It's light and fabulous poised with juicy flavours, finishing splendidly long and crisp."
The winery writes "This Mediterranean style rosé is savoury with fresh sea breeze aromas of Himalayan salt, cranberry and Honeydew melon flavours. The wine is perfectly poised with grainy tension, delivering a briny fresh, vibrant and dry finish."
