FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim - Wine Orbit "exquisitely charming and splendidly attractive"
Lost Garden is a new label by legendary Hawkes Bay producer Trinity Hill. Lost Garden wines are fresh and unashamedly vibrant, without sacrificing the winemaking attention to detail and sheer quality in the glass that Trinity Hill have built their reputation on.
The 2019 Lost Garden Rosé is blended from Syrah and Pinot Noir and it is our pick of the current Lost Garden releases; a succulent, crisp wine with crunchy red berryfruits and some nice savoury mid palate notes that have been perfectly balanced with crisp acidity on the finish. It’s such an attractive, thirst quenching style and has the added benefit of being one of the best presented Hawke’s Bay Rosés in the market. Now well under $25 ( this wine is $29.99 at the cellar door) this premium Rosé is compelling value with the Advintage Advantage. It comes very highly recommended.
Sam Kim writes "Elegantly fruited and delicately fragrant, the bouquet shows grapefruit, cranberry, lemon peel and apple characters, leading to a juicy palate that is focused and linear. It is exquisitely charming and splendidly attractive with a lingering mouth-watering finish."
