Legendary Kiwi chef, Al Brown has teamed up with the guys at Constellation to create his own range of wines. Enter Tipping Point - the wines that 'do good and taste great'. Each varietal has been carefully selected to celebrate winemaking in the respective region and every purchase from the Tipping Point range contributes towards NZ charities that are close to Al's heart.
They've added some fizz to the range with thier Sparkling Ocean Bubbles. Vinted from Marlborough fruit and made using Methode Traditionelle techniques, it's fresh and vibrant with crisp apple and citrus notes. A perfect summer sparkler and purchasing this contributes to the Hauraki Gulf Conservation Trust and the work they do restoring the natural elements in that special part of the country.
Cameron Douglas MS writes "An attractive mix of fruit and leesy autolysis with aromas of pears and apple, yeast and grapefruit. On the palate - fruity with a smooth mouthfeel, contrasting acidity and just dry. Flavours mirror the bouquet with white fleshed tree fruits and citrus then a fine lees finish. Well made and ready to drink from today and through 2023."
Sam Kim writes "Beautifully ripe and fragrant, the bouquet shows golden apple, apricot, lemon zest and subtle savoury notes, leading to a flavoursome palate displaying rounded mouthfeel and juicy acidity. Smooth and friendly for easy drinking."
Al Brown writes "This Methodé from Marlborough has a little ‘crisp apple’ action. It’s a super fresh number with a delicious tingle accompanying every sip. We lost the foil so you can get straight to the pop!"
