4.5 STARS 91/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
91 POINTS | Cameron Douglas MS
A classic expression of Pinot Noir from the Tinpot Hut team in Marlborough. The palate is dominated by black cherry notes with a hint of spice and soft, silky tannins. Delicious wine that's now an outright bargain with the Advintage Advantage.
Sam Kim writes "Youthfully charming and inviting, the bouquet shows dark cherry, plum, floral and mixed spice characters, leading to a beautifully rounded palate that is juicy and supple. The wine offers sweet berry flavours together with elegant spicy/savoury nuances, delightfully framed by silky tannins."
The winery writes "Classic black cherry notes dominate the palate and are supported by hints of bramble, reflecting the aromatics. Structurally the tannins are soft and silky. Well balanced acidity ensures good length and weight."
