This Vino Rosso a blend of Sangiovese, Montepulciano, Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot. The Sangiovese and Montepulciano components bring a delicious juciness to the party while the Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot bring structure and balance. The palate is loadded with ripe dark fruit flavours which are nicely balanced by toasty oak characters. This is an excellent food-friendly wine that goes perefectly with pasta and game dishes.
The winery writes "Aromatics of red fruit and spices, the palate is elegant and long, framed by a fine tannin structure. This blended red is a true expression of the terroir of The Landing. The sun-drenched slopes, deep clay soil and the nearby cooling waters of the Bay of Islands shape a wine, that like the site itself, is a unique meeting of cultures."
