The winery writes "Made from 100% Sauvignon Blanc from a single vineyard parcel growing close to the township of Renwick in the heart of Marlborough’s Wairau Valley. This stony vineyard was harvested at absolutely beautiful ripeness and after careful pressing was fermented cool in a stainless steel tank and given a three month period on lees to help build some richness and body. The SAUVIGNON 2016 is a deliciously ripe and medium bodied Sauvignon Blanc. The wine has a lovely lemon straw colour, lifted aromas of nectarine, white flowers and a lovely lifted sweet herb element. The palate has a medley of nectarine, mandarin, gooseberry and currant leaf flavours finishing with a lovely line of refreshing limey acidity. Perfect through 2017 and into the summer of 2018. Fresh seafood and summer salads are exactly the match. "
