This famous Reserve label has always been an excellent example of fine, barrel-fermented Hawke's Bay Chardonnay and this Gold Medal 2020 release has been further lees-aged for 10 months in French oak barriques to bring even more weight and texture to the party. A powerful nose of ripe peach, apricot and French oak promises much and the palate fulfils those flavours with buttery, creamy mouthfeel and more oak spice.
The 2020 is now entering its peak drinking window, and will continue to develop over the coming 3 years. It's easily our favourite wine in the Sileni portfolio and now excellent value with the Advintage Advantage.
