Black Chook Shiraz Viognier 2019 - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's attractively fruited and inviting on the nose showing Black Doris plum, mulberry, mixed spice and almond notes, followed by a succulent palate offering supple texture and silky tannins. Upfront and very tasty."
Big Villa Black Label Barossa Shiraz 2021 - Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It's instantly appealing with blackberry, dark plum, olive, warm spice, and assorted nut aromas. The palate is silky-smooth and plump with a fleshy texture and beautifully melded tannins, finishing rich and robust with a velvety mouthfeel. Upfront and fabulously drinkable."
Wild South Shiraz 2023 - A nicely weighted, fruit forward style that shows an amalgam of juicy black and red fruits on the palate. Good texture and softly expressed tannins make for an easy drinking style that will have very wide appeal.
Yalumba Samuels Collection Barossa Shiraz 2022 - Cameron Douglas MS writes "Aromas and flavours of licorice and black currant, toasty vanilla laved wood scents, pepper spice and a natural earth and leather quality. Firm and dry on the palate, youthful with a core of ripe blackcurrant and ark berry fruit flavours, some floral highlights. Acidity sets the backbone of this wine in place with ripe fruit flavours for contrast and depth."
Quarisa Johnny Q Shiraz 2020 - The winery writes "Intense red with purple hues. Intense youthful fresh ripe berry fruit flavours with some well integrated oak. Full bodied dense ripe berry fruit flavours balanced with vanillin oak but yet long and smooth. Serve with red wine casserole or a juicy steak with red onion jam. This wine has the flavour, structure and balance to be enjoyed now or offers added satisfaction from further cellaring."
Black Barrel Shiraz 2024 - A bold wine with loads of ripe dark berry flavours like blackberry and plum, backed up by warm, spicy notes of clove and black pepper. The oak aging adds a touch of smokiness and smooths out the finish, giving it a nice balance between fruit and spice.
