NZ's MOST SOUGHT AFTER ROSÈ | drier and crisper than the 2020 vintage

93 POINTS | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Vinted from Central Otago Pinot Noir by one of New Zealand's finest winemaking teams, this is hands down New Zealand's most sought after rosé.
Winemaker Malcolm Rees-Francis has nailed the style that has won this Central Otago cult classic its devoted following and the 2021 bursts with just-off-dry upfront strawberry fruits and finishes with a perfectly balanced lick of fresh acidity that brings your palate back to earth.
Long term fans of this much loved wine will be delighted to know that the 2021 is drier than the 2020, but maintains that opulent style that sealed Stolen Kiss's reputation with premium Rosé fans nationwide. It's fantastic. If you haven't had a Stolen Kiss moment in your life, you really don't know what you're missing.
The winery writes "The sweetly frivolous and fruity side of Central Otago Pinot Noir is bound up in this bottle of Stolen Kiss rosé. once unleashed into your glass its candy-floss and crème-brûlée aromas shall sashay into a flirtatious toffee-apple and simmering strawberry palate smeared with cherry lip-gloss; most fun to drink chilled on sultry summer afternoons and evenings."
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Very floral, mineral and fruity bouquet, seductive and pretty with aromas of crunchy red cherry and tart raspberry. There’s a mix of red melon and tropical fruit punch suggestions. Salivating and fresh on the palate with a core of red berry and tropical fruit tea flavours, a mineral and super fine tannin texture delivers lovely mouthfeel and finesse. Great drinking from 2021 through 2024. Be quick - I expect this wine will sell out rather quickly."
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, pale blush pink, even colour throughout. The nose is soft with a pure fruit expression, aromas of stonefruit, field berries, melded with rose petals, candy floss and a hint of spice. Medium-bodied, attractive aromas of peach, strawberries entwined with candy floss and delicate rose petals. The fruit has good ripeness balance, shows purity, balanced sweetness supported by vibrant acidity lends a refreshing finish. This is a taste of summer in a glass. Serve as an aperitif or match with spicy Asian fare over the next 2 years."
This was my favourite Rose last summer and I think this years is even better.
