This excellent McLaren Vale release is impressive wine. Very darkly fruited and loaded with masses of concentrated berry / cherry flavours with robust mouthfeel and firm, grippy tannins. It's a typically powerhouse style from Rockbare that is both enjoyable now but built for the long haul.

The winery writes "Approachable, graceful palate of mulberry and blueberry compote. Up front, juicy flesh of plum with underlying notes of chocolate coated coffee beans, mint, black pepper, and a hint of earthy truffles.
