18.5 / 20 | Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
A lovely expression of finely crafted, dry pinot noir rosé from a producer traditionally associated with the white table cloth, fine dining scene. This is a fresh style with zingy red fruits and lifted, creamy acidity, Some very subtle, seasoned oak influence adds texture and further savoury notes - but this lovely wine is all about the crisp flavours of summer. Recommended.
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Medium-light bodied, dry to taste, the palate is flooded with succulent red berries, blood orange and zest, orange blossom lingers to a refreshing finish. The wine possesses good fruit concentration, support by mouth-watering acidity, flows along a chalky-textured line. This is a crisp rosé with great flavour intensity."
The winery writes "Q Rose is crafted from 100% Pinot Noir. Seductive pink in colour, the aromas of watermelon, white flowers and wild forest fruits are powerful and long lasting. We have fermented a portion in French oak barriques giving the palate great concentration and texture. A dry style Rose making for a highly gastronomic wine."

Lovely Summer drop
Enjoyed this lovely Rose at Spqr in Ponsonby with friends. Medium dry and easy drinking with soft berry flavor and an elegant smooth finish. Very impressed!
