The Cuisine judges writes "Low cropped Hawke’s Bay syrah combining high-toned floral scents, berries and cream, spice and vanilla aromas. They make an appealing prelude to a wine of lovely fruit concentration, intense berry, cassis and mocha flavours, with good body, fine tannins and lingering finish. We recommend serving this wine with a medium-rare rack of lamb."
