Organised Chaos is the brainchild of Hawke's Bay winemaker Hayden Penny who wanted to make organic wines that 'are a fresh, vibrant, and textural expression of a modern day Hawke’s Bay.'
This pet nat (pétillant naturel — a French term that roughly translates to “naturally sparkling”.) is the latest release from Organised Chaos and it's a lot of fun. Hawke's Bay Pinot Noir fruit was used and the result is fresh and lively with flavours in the cherry and red berry spectrum. An excellent release and a perfect summer wine.
The winery writes "Bright and bubbly, this wine is a lot of fun. Ripe red fruits mixed with candy floss and a little spice. Intense and bright in the mouth with flavours of dark cherries and new season strawberries. Lively acid and an off-dry finish. A taste of summer! Our Pinot Noir is grown in central Hawkes Bay on hillsides made up of loess (wind blown sediments) over crumbly limestone."
