Nautilus ranks in any conversation of our finest bubbles and this Chardonnay proves they are one of the most talented teams in New Zealand wine. Hand picked, whole-bunch pressed and 100% barrel fermented. In any discussion of New Zealands finest Chardonnays. Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.
Raymond Chan writes "The palate is full-bodied and possesses presence, the flavours showing stylish restraint, but undeniable concentration and richness, with stonefruits and citrus fruits, mealy detail and layers of flinty complexity, along with creamy and nutty oak. This is subtle with its MLF expression. This is deliciously rich, complex and has proportion and style. Outstanding wine, Predominantly clones 15 and 95 with a little 548 and 1066, fully indigenous yeast barrel fermented with high solids, the wine spending 11 months in 25% new French oak, undergoing batonnage and approx. 85% MLF. "
