4.5 STARS | Michael Cooper
We've been keen to add Mount Edward Chardonnay to our shelves for a while now and when we tasted the 2018 vintage we knew we had to start clearing a spot for it. Fruity, lightly oaked and medium-bodied, this Chardonnay steers clear of the big, bold type and heads straight for the delicately subtle aisle. Absolutely delightful all the same. It's going to be a winner.
As with all of the Mount Edward wines, this is organic and bio-grow certified.
The winery writes "A wine with delicate fruit flavours, some savoury complexity, nuttiness & vanilla, with a soft palate of pith like mineral texture, all underpinned by fine acidity."
