The 2016 is a departure from previous Hawkes Bay vintages and is vinted from prime Gisborne fruit. It's a showcase of all that is good about modern barrel fermented Gisborne Chardonnay - a rich, opulent wine that delivers a mouthfilling, persistent Chardonnay experience with creamy mouthfeel and brilliant persistence. This important wine is drinking superbly now but will blossom magnificently over the next 6-8 years if cellared.
