Another excellent release from the Misha's Vineyard team. The Gallery sets the bar for premium Gewurz and it's oh so elegant and classy. The palate is brimming with exotic fruit flavours and fruit sweetness is perfectly balanced by a touch of acidity. Sublime.
Sam Kim writes "Offering fabulous fruit purity and varietal expression, the wine shows lifted aromas of mango, lychee, citrus peel and subtle rose petal on the nose, leading to a wonderfully flavoursome palate that's succulent and rounded. It's bright and refreshing with a lengthy delectable finish."
Michael Cooper writes "The delicious 2019 vintage (5*) was estate-grown at Bendigo and 50 per cent of the blend was fermented with indigenous yeasts in old French oak barrels. Bright, light yellow/green, it is fleshy and highly perfumed, with concentrated, ripe, peachy, spicy flavours, a hint of ginger, and an off-dry (11 grams/litre residual sugar), smooth finish. A powerful, finely poised, youthful wine, it should break into full stride 2022+”
Cameron Douglas MS writes "Blossoms and white spice, wet stone and apricot, white fleshed nectarine and citrus peel; exotic without being overdone, a sophisticated, calm and elegant bouquet of Gewurztraminer. On the palate -a fleshy almost juicy texture in a just dry style with a core of white fleshed stone-fruit, apple and citrus flavours, medium-acidity, a contrasting and finely textured front palate feel and gently warming alcohol. Well-made, balanced and ready to enjoy from today and through 2024.”
