FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim.
92 POINTS & TOP VALUE | Campbell Mattinson. "This is an amazingly good buying/drinking option. When people ask me What’s A Good Shiraz? This is now my recommendation."
If ever there was a Barossa Shiraz that defined the term 'Over Achiever' this has to be it. The supercool squat bottles give you a clear signal that there is something special going on here and this opulent Aussie red ticks every other box. It's complex and classy enough to enhance a fine dining table - and gluggable enough to enjoy whenever the mood takes you. It really is the ducks nuts. If robust Aussie reds make you a happy camper, you'll never find a safer bet.
Campbell Mattinson writes "Barossa Shiraz. Hard to go wrong, and you certainly won’t here. This is an amazingly good buying/drinking option. So dark, so supple, so polished. Boom, as the wannabe cool kids say. Violet, clove, plum and sweet spice. The bounce of boysenberry. Sweet fruit galore. It’s not overly dark in colour terms but it tastes like ink, if that makes sense. It feels good in the mouth but it also feels ready to explode. When people ask me What’s A Good Shiraz? This is now my recommendation.“
