FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
A MASSIVE STAFF FAVOURITE
Our team are well known fans of good Australian Grenache so we were thrilled when this absolute gem made it on to our tasting table. Beautifully presented in gorgeous heritage squat bottles, this really is the perfect red. It's a generous style showcasing the softer flavours of Australian Grenache - a variety we often describe as tasting like good Kiwi Pinot Noir blended with the power and weight of Aussie Shiraz.
Soft and supple, Little Giant is great with food but slurpy good if you just feel like a soft, silky smooth glass of red wine. A splash of Shiraz and Mataro in the mix takes this wonderful red up another notch, adding further interest to an already compelling story. Get involved.
Sam Kim writes: "A gorgeous rendition of the variety; the perfumed bouquet shows plum, cranberry, raspberry, cocoa and fragrant spice aromas, followed by a succulent palate that is fleshy and velvety. It is supple and beautifully cushioned with silky texture, making it is instantly appealing. At its best: now to 2024."
