Libiamo, meaning "lets drink", is the natural range from Millton Wines in Gisborne. For the Millton family this has meant creating wines for the next generation where the wines are unmanipulated and produced with a focus on looking after the planet.
This chenin blanc was fermented on skins for 14 months in clay amphora pots. This method has retained the luminosity and textures that are sometimes lost as a result of modern winemaking methods.
This is a natural wine - don't be worried if there is a bit of sediment at the bottom or if it's bit cloudy, that's how its supposed to be!
A slightly cloudy natural number with a hint of brine and plenty of pear notes on the nose. The palate is long and refreshing with rounded acidity and a dry finish. Lots of bright fruit characteristics to be found.
