Listed in Michael Cooper’s “NZ’s less-familiar white wines well worth checking out” | NZ Listener magazine
Gorgeous, plush and textural Hawkes Bay Viognier from the former Morton Estate team. This really is lovely wine with tangy apricot characters underpinned with fleshy, ripe citrus fruits and a lick of fresh acidity.
Michael Cooper writes “Ready to roll, this bright, light lemon/green wine offers easy drinking, with a touch of class. Full-bodied (14% alc/vol), it has generous, ripe, stonefruit flavours, enriched by a delicate oak influence, and a harmonious, smooth finish”
