CLASSICALLY DRY FRENCH ROSÉ AT THE RIGHT PRICE.
GOLD MEDAL | Gilbert & Gaillard
FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
90 POINTS | Cameron Douglas MS "...crisp, and dry with salivating acidity."
Blended from handpicked grenache and cinsault from vineyards near Carcassonne and the Bassin de Thau, this is a quintessentially crisp and dry rosé in the classic Provence / Mediterranean style. It's a vibrant rosé with delicate fresh berry characters and that delicious hint of minerality that cinsault offers in the hands of a skilled winemaker. Some light texture on the mid palate adds interest and some weight and the result is bright, clean and very moreish.
There's so much to like here and we expect this well-priced wine to be a huge hit with the Advintage French Rosé Faithful.
Cameron Douglas writes "Vinified from Grenache and Cinsault the appearance is classic with a pale onion skin hue, very bright and aromas to match with peach and apple, then mineral and apricot. A delicate rose scent adds charm and enticement to taste. On the palate - crisp, and dry with salivating acidity then flavours that reflect the nose. Fine mealy textured mouthfeel, a touch of mineral an spice then fruit. Balanced and well made."
Sam Kim writes "It's delicately fragrant on the nose showing crunchy apple, nectarine and floral aromas with a touch of sweet strawberry. The palate displays elegant weight and smooth mouthfeel well complemented by juicy fruit flavours and bright acidity, offering fabulous drinking."
