Hints of cinnamon and black pepper lend spice to this unctuous, concentrated wine. Ripe black-plum and and blueberry flavors are dense and weighty, offset by brisk acidity and nuances of game and violet. The finish is bold and long, framed by fine-grained but persistent tannins. It should improve through 2028 and hold further.
