Partially aged in large 300L French hogshead barrels - hence the name - Hogshead Shiraz is blended from fruit off old vines from the best vineyards in Barossa, McLaren Vale and South Australia to produce the ultimate expression of Australian Shiraz. Flavourfull and full-bodies this is perfect for the cooler nights.
The winery writes "Deep purple in colour matched by an aromatic and expressive nose, unveiling aromas of dark fruits, ripe plums and sweet smoked spice. The palate is extravagantly proportioned, filling the mouth with blue fruits and boysenberries, violets and exotic spice; all framed by fine tannins. A memorable and hedonistic dream."
