90 POINTS | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit.
We are constantly on the lookout for well priced, generously proportioned Pinots that are both satisfying and varietally correct. Finding standouts that fit that criteria is harder than you think, so we are pleased to report that this Adelaide Hills gem was a total standout at a recent evaluative tasting. This is delicious wine - soft, fulsome, and loaded with the classic savoury cherry flavours of good Pinot Noir. Forget any concerns about this wine coming from across the Tasman because there's some serious bang for your buck here. Climb in.
Sam Kim, Wine Orbit writes "It is elegantly expressed on the nose showing spiced cherry, strawberry and floral characters with subtle notes of clove, thyme and almond. The palate delivers juicy fruit flavours and rounded mouthfeel, beautifully supported by silky texture and polished tannins. Well balanced and harmonious with sweet berry notes and delicate savoury nuances. "
