Geografico Bosco del Grillo Toscano 2019

Another example of excellent modern winemaking from the famous Geografico cooperative. Sangiovese dominant ( 80% sangiovese, 10% merlot, 5% colorino, 5% cabernet sauvignon), this is rich and complex wine that flows over the palate with dark fruits, complexed by tobacco and herbal notes. Some of the fruit is held on the vine for an extended period and added to the ferment; bringing a richer, dark caramel flavour into play. Wonderful.
