Domaine Treloar is a small, high-quality estate run by English winemaker Jonathan Hesford and his Kiwi wife Rachel Treloar, whose Maori and Cornish roots are honoured in the winery’s logo. Their wines are smart, soulful, and seriously well made – and this grenache rouge is no exception.
Produced from handpicked, old vine grenache and syrah in Languedoc-Roussillon, this wine is pure, focused, and layered with character. There’s enough tannin and structure here to keep things interesting, but it’s still plush and ready to drink – or stash a few bottles away and watch it evolve.

The winery writes "Fruity and spicy red wine. Red fruit and caramel on the nose. A taste of ripe berries with coffee, liquorice and dark chocolate. Good structure with sufficient tannin to give the wine texture and longevity."
