95 POINTS | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
Wonderful Martinborough Pinot Noir from an iconic New Zealand producer. Always understated in the middleweight, elegant style, this is a wonderful expression of Martinborough wine with line and real length. It's not flashy or fully loaded and it's all the better for choosing that path.
Sam Kim writes "This is gorgeously fruited and splendidly complex on the nose, showing dark plum, ripe cherry, thyme, vanilla and almond characters with a hint of gamey nuance. It's beautifully weighted and rounded on the palate, delivering excellent fruit purity and intensity together with silky texture and polished tannins. Sensually tantalising and very attractive."
