Craggy Range have switched things up a bit with their 2021 rosé release. While previous vintages have adopted a crisp, dry, Provence style, the 2021 is a slightly more lush, succulent rendition. Fruit from Craggy Range's Gimblett Gravels vineyard was carefully selected to create a blend of 44% syrah, 36% tempranillo and 20% merlot. The resulting wine carries delicious red fruit flavours and a delicate touch of spice. Another excellent release from Craggy Range.
The winery writes "Brilliant rose petal in colour. Lifted fresh cherry and wild raspberry. The palate has a succulence that flows the whole palate through. Ripe red fruit envelops the flavour profile; however, a savoury thread ensures that this complements many a first course. Delicious."
