Craggy's lightly oaked Chardonnay is a standout every year and this 2021 release once again doffs its cap to the great wines of Chablis. Fresh and vibrant with tight structure and great mid-palate drive, this is an excellent partner to seafood dishes and a killer match with crayfish. Don't skip this.
The winery writes "Pale lime to pale straw. Instantly you are reminded of the coastal nature of this vineyard, with oyster shell, sea spray and cashew all present in the bouquet. Overall, the mouth feels vibrant and fresh, with lively acidity, but not at the expense of flavour. Fresh lemon curd and supple oak round out a palate that is as delicious as it is refreshing."
