Over the past 20 years Ant McKenzie has crafted fantastic wines for some of the biggest names in New Zealand wine - Dry River, Framingham, Mud House, Te Awa and Spy Valley. Now, under his own banner, he has created a multi-tier range of wines with Craft Farm pitched as "single site expressions that showcase the essence of place."
This sublime wine comes off the McKenzie's home block. It's an opulent and exotic Gewurz in the classic medium dry style. Beautiful wine from an aromatic master.
The winery writes " The palate delivers a full range of flavours including ripe stone fruit and toasted brioche. This is a full bodied wine with warmth and generosity from both alcohol and residual sugar coupled with a very soft acidity."
