- Chapoutier Cotes du Rhone 2015
The Chapoutier family have produced wines in the Rhone Valley since 1808 and no one will argue that under the stewardship of Michel Chapoutier the wines have blossomed. Of all the middleweight Euro reds, Cotes du Rhone is the best suited to our kiwi foods and lifestyle.
It's a superb wine with rich aromas of dark fruit, earthy minerals and spice. It is soft and round on the palate with smooth tannins, rich blackberry and cherry fruit, hints of liquorice and a substantial finish.
