93 POINTS | Candice Chow for Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
Premium organic Central Otago Sauvignon Blanc from the Carrick team. It's a fresh and intense wine with the soft acidity that we enjoy in Central Otago Sauv. A portion of the juice was fermented in oak which has added complexity and texture. Elegant and very tasty.
Bob Campbell writes "Fresh, intense sauvignon blanc with gooseberry, citrus, grapefruit, lime, and stone fruit, peach and nectarine flavours. I particularly like the acidity, which is moderately assertive but delightfully soft and yet mouth-watering."
Michael Cooper writes "Certified organic, the 2019 vintage was estate-grown, hand-harvested and fermented with indigenous yeasts in tanks (68 per cent) and old oak barriques (32 per cent). Bright, light yellow/green, it is full-bodied, with a fragrant, complex bouquet. Full of personality, it has excellent vigour and intensity of peachy, limey flavours, and a crisp, dry (2.5 grams/litre of residual sugar), long finish. A top example of Central Otago Sauvignon Blanc."
