FIVE STARS 93/100 | Candice Chow for Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
The brand new Prosecco Rosé that's all kinds of fresh, sparkling fun. There's been no expense spared on the livery here - the gorgeous patterned glass bottle and eye-catching sparkling label certainly make a statement and the wine inside is just as stunning. Vinted from a blend of Glera and Pinot Nero, it's a fruit-forward style with juicy, fresh flavours on the palate. A real crowd-pleaser.
Sam Kim writes "Elegantly perfumed and instantly appealing, the bouquet shows watermelon, floral, rockmelon and Gala apple characters, leading to a refreshing palate that's juicy and flavoursome. Smooth and soothing with plenty of tasty flavours."
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Bright, even, pale peach-pink, consistent subtle fine bead. The nose is subtle and soft, nuances of strawberries, peaches melded with a hint of creaminess. Medium-bodied, aromas of strawberries, peaches entwined with lemon sherbet and a little floral, underlined a lightly creamy background. The wine has good depth of flavours and layers, assembled by lush fruit and florals on a lively acid thread. Match this with grilled calamari and tomato base seafood/ pasta over the next 2-3 years."
The winery writes "Fine bright perlage and light rosé colour. Delicate and complex bouquet with fruity notes that remind of peach, green apple and lemon. Floral notes of acacia and rose. Fresh and light on the palate, with balanced acidity and body. Round and full bodied structure. Enjoy rosé bubbles as an aperitif but excellent with fish soups, grilled fish and courses based on mushrooms."
