WORLD FAMOUS PREMIUM, VALDOBBIADENE DOCG PROSECCO
It's no mean feat to stand out in a sea of compelling prosecco offerings but Bortolin Angelo Brut does just that. The unique 'twisted' bottle is inspired by the twisted vines that produce the handpicked glera grapes, and the wine inside is absolutely delicious - very clearly a cut above the more commercial option that dominate New Zealand prosecco sales. A very subtle touch of fruit sweetness is balanced out by fresh acidity and the finish is wonderfully dry and crisp. Stunning inside and out and a great choice if you're looking for premium prosecco with that extra bit of pizzaz. Thoroughly recommended.
The winery writes "Pale straw yellow. Dry and fine, with sensations of apple and green pear giving it the right amount of zest and making it a wine that immediately evokes its direct and essential character. The perfect acidity and balanced softness make it a poignant brut. It has a fruity citrus aftertaste. The bubbles are subtle, creamy and almost velvety on the palate."
