4.5 STARS 91/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit "delectable and fabulously drinkable"
The slick, glossy paper-wrapped bottles obviously capture your attention, but it's the wine contained within that's the star of the show here. Blended from grenache and tempranillo, this is lightly spicy, medium-weight red with soft, flowing mouthfeel and easy drinkability. It's upfront, accessible and very rewarding wine and Castillo De Fuendejalon has been a huge favourite with the Advintage EuroRed Faithful for well over a decade.
The winery writes "Deep red color with spice and ripe fruit aromas. Medium-bodied, supple and dry, with notes of black cherry, raspberry, and hints of vanilla. Soft tannins and a moderate acidity keep everything in balance."
Sam Kim writes "Made from garnacha and tempranillo, offering sweet aromas of dark berry and vanilla with cured meat, clove and cedar nuances. It's plump and succulent on the palate, displaying beautifully supple mouthfeel, making it delectable and fabulously drinkable."
