CRISP, DRY, LIGHTLY SPARKLING WINES FROM ONE OF NEW ZEALAND'S BEST ROSÉ WINEMAKERS.
Celebrated Marlborough winemaker David Clouston sits at the the top table of New Zealand Rosé production. Best known for his work with the outstanding Two Rivers brand, his Black Cottage wines offer canny wine buyers comparable quality at a more accessible price. Vinted from Pinot Noir with a splash of Pinot Gris adding floral aspects to the palate, this is crisp, dry rosé in the Italian Frizzante (very lightly sparkling) style. It is absolutely delicious. We love the simple label and funky crown cap seal and we love what's in the glass even more. It's made to be enjoyed anytime something cool and fresh is the order of the day and will go perfectly with alfresco foods in the summer sun.
The winery writes "Lifted aromatics of fresh cranberry, crushed pink peppercorn and sea breeze burst out of the glass. This stylish and effervescent Frizzante style rosé has flavours of wild strawberries and watermelon with a salt like finish which leaves the palate clean, dry and thirsting for more".
