This flagship red blend is only produced when vintage conditions provide truly exceptional fruit. A wine with serious cellaring potential. All class. The accolades speak for themselves, get your share.
Vinted from 40% Merlot, 33% Malbec, 27% Cabernet Sauvignon.
Cameron Douglas writes "Dark purple core, pink, purple and ruby rime, very bright. Complex, fruity and alluring bouquet with aromas of plum and blackberry fruits, an abundance of new toasty wood showing of clove and vanilla spices, some bacon and oak sweetness. Noticeably dry on the palate, but with a core of fruit, high acidity and firm youthful tannins it is easy to see how this wine will settle ang age well for some time. Flavours are bold and expressive, earthy, woody, toasty, fruity and textured. Lengthy finish."
Candice Chow, Raymond Chan Wine Reviews writes "Medium-full bodied, the palate is fulsome with rich and expansive, mouthfilling flavours of ripe black plums with spicy blackberries and hints of blackcurrants. The fruit forms a deep and sweetly rich, concentrated core, with fine-grained, powdery tannin extraction. The mouthfeel is soft and smooth, with the acidity emerging to enliven the palate, carrying to a very long, lingering finish. This is a fulsome, mouthfilling, rich Merlot-based wine with sweet plum and spicy berry fruit, on a very fine-structured palate with a concentrated core and fresh finish. This will develop over the next 9-10+ years."
