90/100 | Wine Spectator
The 2016 Chianti Superiore shows a ruby red color with purple highlights. The nose is complex with notes of violets and cherries well integrated with hints of spices. It’s nicely balanced with classic Chianti characters and a juicy mouthfilling finish.
Wine Spectator writes: "Rich and aromatic, boasting cherry, wild herb, tobacco and spice flavors. A solid swath of tannins keeps a tight grip on the finish. Sangiovese. Drink now through 2023."
