Ant Moore's new a+ range focuses on creating premium, small batch wines that capture the bright, vibrant notes of the Marlborough fruit.
For the sauvignon blanc, carefully selected parcels of fruit were taken from Ant's Waihopai and Wairau Valley vineyards to create this delicious release. Those Marlborough flavours are there in force, with bright topical notes and a touch of herbaceousness. Another excellent release from this NZ winemaking legend.
The winery writes "This refined Sauvignon Blanc has an intense herbaceous nose with soft, textural tropical notes of melon and mango on the palate, and a clean long limey finish. Perfect with barbecued fish or a bowl of green lipped mussels and fresh asparagus."
