The team behind Angus the Bull Cabernet Sauvignon aim to make a wine that pairs perfectly with prime beef - and we think they do an outstanding job of it. Fruit from across Central Victoria is carefully selected to create just the right blend for the Angus the Bull signature style - the 2020 release is predominantly cabernet sauvignon, with merlot and petit verdot in support. It's a rich, full-bodied with with dark berry notes and well handled tannins.

The winery writes "Intense colour with bright purple hues. Vibrant black fruits with rich dark chocolate and subtle vanillin oak aromas. Medium to full bodied palate weight, characterised by satisfying tannins and a savoury masculine finish. An Ideal accompaniment to red meat and premium cuts of prime beef. Will continue to improve over the next 4-6 years."
