Beach House Old School Chardonnay 2020: Tropical/ stonefruits on the nose that flow through to the palate where they are joined with creme caramel notes and flavours of buttered toast.
Mount Ridge Sauvignon Blanc 2020: The winery writes "This wine is a classic Marlborough blend showing fresh citrus aromas with hunts of lemonwood and crushed nettle. The palate expresses supple fruit weight, dried herb and citrus zest finishing long and balanced."
Thornbury Pinot Gris 2020: Sam Kim writes "Wonderfully ripe and immediately appealing, the wine shows apricot, mandarin, pear and subtle spice notes on the nose, leading to a succulent palate that's fleshy and persistent. A comforting wine with plenty of delectable flavours, offering terrific drinking."
Mount Brown Grand Reserve Dry White 2018: Fragrant and fresh with some floral notes. The palate is layered and textural with a tangy array of crunchy apple / watermelon and citrus flavours. The finish is crisp and clean with good acidity. Enjoy over the coming 12 months while the wine remains in pristine condition.
Margrain River's Edge Sauvignon Blanc 2019: The palate springs forth with hackles raised and will have you shivering with anticipation. It presents as beautifully and quite simply dry, while the attentive acidity imparts a tingly feel to the spine. Tinned pineapple, fresh persimmon and fragrant bergamot swirl around in this fast-walking, quick-talking wine while a slightly furry carborundum-like structure anchors it with pith-cutting freshness. Mid palate there are glimpses of a thickened, oily quality, some lush chunks of quava, wedges of grapefruit and an interesting spicy note, perhaps star anise? Finally however, the wine finishes as clean as a newly sanitised bench press and will leave you craving another sip.
Mount Brown Pinot Gris 2020: Sam Kim writes "It's immediately appealing on the nose showing apricot, poached pear, rockmelon and lemon zest aromas. The palate delivers terrific fruit intensity and richly textured mouthfeel, beautifully balanced by refreshing acidity, offering excellent drinking."
Pian E Fa Presto Pinot Grigio 2018: Sam Kim writes "Pristine and elegant, the delicately fragrant bouquet shows apricot, citrus peel and white floral notes with a hint of fragrant spice. It’s beautifully weighted and juicy on the palate with lovely fruit purity backed by vibrant acidity, finishing lively and very appealing."
