94 POINTS | Cameron Douglas MS "Delicious and well made."
FIVE STARS 18.5/20 | Candice Chow for Raymond Chan Wine Reviews
The previous vintages have always cleaned up at the award rounds and cement this classic wine's reputation as one of Central's most consistently awarded Pinot Noirs. The 2019 is yet another showstopper - loaded with dark berry fruits, classic Central Otago savoury characters and pillow soft tannins. Gorgeous wine.
Vegetarian and Vegan friendly.
The palate exhibits juicy red fruits, while on the palate toasty oak and spice characters give complexity and texture. Soft, light tannins compliment the classic Central Otago savoury characteristics, leading to a lengthy, full finish. A delightful expression of Central Otago Pinot Noir from this highly respected producer.
Cameron Douglas writes "94 pts. Seductive, ripe, fruity, floral and varietal with aromas of sweet dark red cherry and dried raspberry and a medley of minerality and sweet oak spices. Equally seductive and ripe on the palate with flavours that mirror the nose plus plum, clove, vanilla and thyme. An abundance of fine tannins, medium+ acidity and lengthy youthful finish. Delicious and well made."
