FIVE STARS 93/100 | Sam Kim, Wine Orbit
We're always on the hunt for a Durif (also known as Petite Sirah) deal because we know it strikes a cord with our Aussie red fans and when we came across A Growers Touch Durif, we couldn't say no. We were smitten just looking at the label and one taste confirmed that there's a bit of magic going on here. This inky black wine carries delicious dark cherry and berry aromas and is packed full of spicy fruit, chocolate and coffee flavours. It's yet to be reviewed but if it doesn't pull in 5 stars from the usual suspects, we'll be on the phone immediately.
We thought this was such a good deal that we pushed the distributor for preferential pricing and can bring it to you under the $15 barrier; seriously over delivering at this price point. If you're a fan of Aussie reds with plenty of body and spice then this is a bandwagon you need to be on.

The winery writes "Wonderfully fruited and instantly appealing, the bouquet shows blackcurrant, plum, vanilla, cocoa and hazelnut characters. The palate delivers excellent concentration and velvety mouthfeel, backed by fine, polished tannins. It is up front and flavoursome with loads of delectable flavours."
